Envocore, LLC is an established national leader engaged in the engineering, designing and installation of energy-efficient systems. Our company designs and installs projects for a wide range of Government, Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Medical, Institutional and Retail facilities across the United States.


SUMMARY: Conducts detailed on-site building envelope investigations. Gathers existing site conditions, documenting building envelope weaknesses and recommending upgrades. Supports the engineering, project development and sales process with data analysis, product recommendations, and engineering/ estimating support.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate and collaborate with facility site personnel
  • Conduct energy audits of facilities (universities, K12 schools, office buildings, etc.)
  • Utilize building envelope assessment tools: Bluebeam Revu, infrared thermography, smoke tracer testing, laser measure, hand tools and visual inspection
  • Take clear photos to document existing conditions
  • Process site data into a clean functional format using MS Excel/Word
  • Write and assemble customer-facing Findings & Recommendations Report
  • Support Project Developers/Engineers/ Salespeople through sales process
  • Travel requirements as necessary for thorough audit of projects. (70-80%)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE THAT TRANSLATES WELL:

  • Residential or commercial energy auditing
  • Current or past Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification
  • Solar site surveying - residential or commercial
  • Home inspections

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software; extensive MS Excel skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Ability to understand all safety requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear.
  • Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Will be required to work on ladders and occasionally at heights up to 20-30 feet.


Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; Field work hours will vary between 1st and 2nd shift by project location.
