Gunstock Mountain Resort is looking for a full-time, seasonal Kitchen Supervisor. The Kitchen Supervisor will assist the Kitchen Manager and Assistant Managers in training and managing culinary personnel and will supervise and coordinate all related culinary activities. They will work to ensure consistent quality of food; ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance; and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen.
The Kitchen Supervisor will offer operational support and culinary instruction for staff members, as well as overseeing opening and closing procedures of the kitchens. The Kitchen Supervisor will have a role in the complete and accurate depletion of inventory.
Major Responsibility: Assist in leading the Culinary Management Team to oversee all aspects of food preparation, product handling, equipment utilization and food safety; Monitor and ensure quality and cost control across all departments.
