A school nursing opportunity is available for two dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) supporting students with specialized health needs in a New Hampshire middle school setting. This contract position provides essential nursing care within the school environment, ensuring students' safety and well-being during the academic day and transportation times.
Two caseloads are being filled:

Caseload A (Full-Time):
- Responsible for 1:1 nursing care for a male middle school student with Type I Diabetes
- Requires experience and training in diabetes management
- Includes supervision during bus rides, with school hours from 7:30 a.m. to 2:20 p.m., and extended hours from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. due to bus riding duties
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time equivalent

Caseload B (Part-Time):
- Provides 1:1 nursing care for a preschool student with complex medical needs, including NG tube management and seizure care
- Anticipated hours are Tuesday and Thursday mornings, roughly 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- May require accompanying the student on the bus
- Start date expected mid-February, continuing through June 15, 2026
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license in New Hampshire
- Experience in school nursing, particularly with Type I Diabetes or complex pediatric medical care
- Ability to manage individual caseloads, including medication administration and emergency interventions
- Comfort and ability to ride the bus with students as required
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with school staff and families
