Volt is immediately hiring a Site Leader in Bedford, Massachusetts 01730

As a Site Leader in Bedford, you will be responsible for.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily shipping and receiving operations of small shipping and receiving area
  • 2 plus years of shipping and receiving experience with good communication skills because there will be customer interaction required. MS Office and Mail Proficiency.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for customer and help resolve issues that arise from shipping and receiving area
  • Drive efficiency and satisfaction through reliable, accurate and dependable management of the Shipping and Receiving area
  • Work independently, for this position is responsible for inbound shipments of customer packages and outbound shipments within a one-person shipping and receiving area.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks that include monthly reporting of inbound and outbound package volume, Site compliance against Client Service Excellence standards.
  • Provide great customer service to other departments and vendors to ensure a smooth operation daily
  • Prior shipping and receiving experience are required with expertise in shipping software applications and MS Office Suite
  • Experience with the rules for shipping batteries and/or IATA, DOT and IMDG certification a plus but not necessary because training is provided.


Key skills:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technology and customer-facing roles.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving team success.


Location:Bedford, MA 01730
Duration: 4 Months contract
Shift Timing: 1st shift. 7:30am to 4:30pm
Pay Range:  $21.00/hr. - $23.00/hr.
