Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, relationship driven New Home Construction Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will leverage both sales expertise and construction knowledge to meet with builders on job sites and promote Metropolitan’s cabinet and countertop products and services. The ideal candidate is skilled at developing strong partnerships, understanding construction timelines, and delivering product solutions that support project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with builders, construction companies, and residential developers
- Conduct on site visits to review project requirements and present Metropolitan’s offerings
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Collaborate with internal design, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales
- Represent Metropolitan at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of residential construction practices and terminology
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans or drawings is a plus
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
- Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license with regular access to reliable transportation
