Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Waltham, Massachusetts. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining a welcoming office environment. This position requires strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to handling various office tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors and employees with a courteous demeanor and assist with issuing badges.
• Coordinate lunch orders and maintain the organization of common areas, including stocking refrigerators.
• Address building-related issues and liaise with facility management as needed.
• Operate a multi-line phone system to manage inbound calls efficiently.
• Utilize mobile applications to manage door access and other office systems.
• Ensure the office remains well-organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Provide general administrative support to team members as required.• Proven experience in receptionist or administrative roles, preferably in a high-tech or biotech environment.
• Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and managing inbound calls.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Familiarity with mobile applications for office management tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work onsite and adapt to the needs of a fast-paced office environment.
