Position Summary:
We're looking for a Supply Chain Commercialization Manager to join our team to lead the business development process in commercializing new products that drive our Strategic Growth Priorities in partnership across the Welch's supply chain and commercial teams.
You will support business growth by effectively leading end to end supply chain product commercialization initiatives across multiple teams, including New Product launches, Value Engineering, Productivity and Supply Chain Stage-gate.

This role will be based out of our Waltham, MA headquarters where you will be immersed in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives and collaboration is key.
Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in-office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days.
What You'll Do:
- Lead Supply Chain commercialization efforts for New Product launches, productivity, supplier qualifications, co-man investigations and qualifications, value engineering, product renovation, core innovation and growth, as well as support other supply chain and/or enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Implement best-in-class processes and tactical plans to effectively manage Supply Chain initiatives including, but not limited to; commercial projects, supply chain planning (capacity, demand, production), and inventory optimization in order to fulfill sales demand, meet customer service metrics, and optimize cost
- Lead internal feasibility assessments and scoping for Supply Chain initiatives to support Welch's Strategic Growth Plan (SGP), including commercialization plans, identifying risks, developing execution plans, while ensuring adequate network capability (capacity/technology) and identifying impacts across the supply chain (cost of goods sold, sourcing, route to market, capacity utilization, DIOH, manufacturing efficiency, quality, safety).
- Serve as Supply Chain representative on cross functional teams to ensure the effective execution of SC initiatives in support of Welch's overall Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and SGP.
- Develop relationships and partner with cross-functional teams at all levels within the organization to drive the commercialization and business development process
- Responsible for leading and executing key Supply Chain initiatives, utilizing Welch's commercialization process to ensure projects are on time and on budget.
- Communicate proactively to Supply Chain leadership, project sponsors and stakeholders on key initiatives, including progress against deliverables, cost management, next steps and support needed.

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required (i.e. Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, etc)
- Candidates should have 5+ years of experience of Supply Chain Experience, preferably with experience in Two (2) or more Supply Chain sub-functions (i.e. Planning, Sourcing/Procurement, Operations, Food Safety & Quality, or Manufacturing)
- Experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and/or Food & Beverage industry is required
- Experience leading projects and initiatives across multiple functions and/or locations (i.e. plants, corporate, etc.)
- Strong analytical experience and skills in the areas of Supply Chain Data & Financials
- Proven leadership skills, ability to manage through ambiguity and drive for results
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, while being highly organized, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
- Effectively solve problems with ability to look at business situations with a productive balance of strategic and tactical thinking and drive towards effective and practical solutions
- Practical experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies (i.e. Lean, TPM, Six Sigma)

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $140,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Welch's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus plan.
