We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to oversee operations from Tuesday to Saturday, 1pm-9pm. The role involves managing point of sale (POS) systems, handling cash in dining areas, assisting in the ordering and receiving of food supplies, and maintaining excellent relationships with coworkers and the student body.
Responsibilities
- Supervise food service operations during designated hours.
- Manage POS systems and handle cash transactions efficiently.
- Assist in the ordering and receiving of food supplies to ensure seamless operations.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with coworkers and students.
- Ensure high standards of customer service, interacting constantly with students and faculty.
- Oversee food production and maintain a hospitality-oriented environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a food service setting.
- Proficient in cash handling and POS systems.
- Experience working in restaurants, dining halls, or similar environments.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Ability to be trained, trustworthy, and an independent thinker.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.

Work within Plymouth State University’s central dining hall and retail locations around campus, including the Union Grill. The environment is dynamic and focused on delivering excellent service to students and faculty.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, New Hampshire.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
