Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont is looking for a Business Analyst Team Lead to join our Business Technology Analysis team. LOCATION: Blue Cross has transitioned to a hybrid workplace where employees within driving distance of our Berlin, VT office work onsite Tuesdays & Wednesdays, with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week.
COMPENSATION: The base salary range for this position is $68,000-$82,000. Additional compensation opportunities and incentives will be detailed during the interview process. Please note that the range listed above is our good faith estimate of the hiring range for this role. If you are hired at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, experience, and internal equity across the current team. Business Analyst Team Lead Responsibilities:
- Work with Business Analyst team members to review project documentation to ensure that documents are accurate and complete for all Claims Areas functions.
- Create project documentation including concept proposals, feasibility studies, functional specification documents, configuration documents, test plans, and test case scenarios
- Effectively plan, meet project goals, and utilize project management tools to create required documentation.
- Exhibit leadership through example and clarity of goal setting, while maintaining a high level of integrity, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
- Build commitment and motivation in others toward the achievement of shared goals by effectively staffing, delegating and empowering, monitoring progress, providing feedback, and taking corrective action when appropriate.
- Provide relevant and current technical input to the address the current and future needs of the department in conjunction with the Plan’s strategic plan.
Business Analyst Team Lead Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a health-related field, or 5-7 years of health insurance industry experience is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management and technical support required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects or processes is required
- Extensive knowledge of the NASCO system processing and proficiency with system testing protocol preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management and technical support required.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
