About the Role

This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with a deep understanding of wholesale mortgage lending. As a Wholesale Mortgage Account Executive, you will be the primary point of contact for broker partners, managing existing relationships while actively sourcing and onboarding new partners. You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless loan submissions, approvals, and closings, playing a key role in growing and sustaining the company’s wholesale pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party mortgage brokers across an assigned territory.

  • Present and promote a competitive suite of wholesale mortgage products, rates, and programs.

  • Serve as a liaison between brokers and internal operations, guiding loans from submission through closing.

  • Educate broker partners on lending guidelines, processes, and tools to improve efficiency and loan quality.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Collaborate with underwriting, funding, and support teams to resolve any loan-level issues quickly and professionally.

  • Meet or exceed monthly volume and relationship-building targets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in wholesale mortgage lending or account executive roles.

  • Proven success in relationship-based sales, preferably in residential mortgage lending.

  • Deep knowledge of loan products including conventional, FHA, VA, and non-QM.

  • Strong understanding of underwriting and compliance guidelines.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of managing a remote or field-based sales territory.

  • Familiarity with LOS platforms and CRM tools is a plus.
