Job Summary:

We're looking for a passionate and creative Partnerships/Influencer Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our influencer, affiliate, and product collaboration programs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, detailed executor, with a keen understanding of the Gen Z landscape, particularly within the outdoor and adventure space..


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Partnerships/Collaborations Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive partnerships and collaborations program that includes product merchandising plans for collabs, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, brand or celebrity collaborations, and non-profit partnerships. All efforts should align with our goal of increasing brand awareness and driving sales among our target demographic of Gen Z women who love the outdoors.
    • Analyze brand partner fit, performance, and cultural relevance to identify new opportunities in the collaboration pipeline. Create and maintain collaboration pipeline.
    • Define and recommend marketplace distribution strategies (e.g., internal DTC vs. partner-exclusive launches) for each collaboration.
    • Special marketing campaign development: Develop and launch campaigns specific to collaborations, special project drops, etc.
    • Website content for partnership product drops: Develop content for landing pages and blog posts that support and lift up partnership strategy and special marketing campaigns.
  • Marketing Campaign assistance: Work with Sr Brand Marketing Manager to assist on major marketing campaigns throughout the season, from pre-production planning, partnership activations, on-site marketing (when necessary), and more
  • Non-profit partnership strategy: Support our non-profit partners, as well as strategize how we can activate and engage with existing non-profit partners and on-board new partners
  • Develop processes and workflows: Work with Operations Team to develop SOWs for special projects, including workback timelines and best practices to ensure efficient execution
  • Influencer and Affiliate Management: Identify, recruit, and manage a diverse portfolio of influencers and affiliates. This includes negotiating contracts, managing campaign logistics, and tracking performance against key metrics.
  • Product Collaborations: Lead the creative development and execution of small, exclusive product collaborations with key partners. Your goal is to generate significant buzz and drive sales through these unique releases.
  • UGC content program: Responsible for developing a UGC program and budget, partnering with paid media team to guide content needs and paid promotion
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of all partnership initiatives. You will be responsible for reporting on KPIs, such as brand reach, engagement rates, website traffic, and sales conversions.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budget for all partnership programs, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve business goals.
  • Market Trend Analysis: Stay on top of the latest trends in influencer marketing, social media, and the outdoor industry to ensure our strategies remain innovative and effective.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in influencer marketing, affiliate management, or a related partnerships role.
  • A strong understanding of the Gen Z demographic and their social media habits.
  • Deep knowledge of the outdoor industry and lifestyle trends is a major plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Data-driven with the ability to analyze campaign performance and make strategic decisions.
  • A creative and proactive mindset with a passion for building authentic brand partnerships.

Job Detail Outline:

  • 6-month contract (Oct to March) with possible extension.
  • Work Hours: 20+ hours per week (weekly hours not to exceed 40), available primarily 9-5pm ET, with a few mandatory hours and meetings each week (to be determined with contractor upon hire).
  • Remote-eligible position.
