Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Worcester, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring accurate payroll processes while supporting client needs and assisting with special projects. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in payroll and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:
• Process and verify employee hours to ensure accurate payroll calculations.
• Assist clients in updating and maintaining their payroll accounts.
• Collaborate on special projects related to payroll operations.
• Review and resolve discrepancies in payroll data and reports.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and report payroll-related information.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address payroll-related inquiries.
• Support the implementation of improvements in payroll systems and workflows as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information.• Proven experience in payroll processing or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll data.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
