Responsibilities
- 6-7 AM Start time to finish. Big hours available.
- Safely transport hazardous materials to designated locations while adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs and paperwork related to hazardous materials.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of hazardous materials during transport.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to hazardous materials transportation.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with Hazmat endorsement.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience, preferably with hazardous materials.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols related to hazardous materials.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
