Akkodis is seeking a Scientist, Downstream Process Development (MSAT) for a Contract job with a client in Framingham, MA (Fully Onsite). The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in downstream purificationprocesses in the biopharmaceutical industry and a strong background in chromatography, TFF, and technology transfer.
Rate Range: $84/hour to $86/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Scientist, Downstream Process Development job responsibilities include:

Develop scalable downstream processes for various therapeutic proteins and modalities (monoclonal/bispecific antibodies, fusion proteins, enzymes, etc.)

Participate in MSAT pilot-scale projects, including data analysis, reporting, and regulatory support
-
Contribute to tech transfers, DOE studies, and lifecycle management for biologics manufacturing

Support the implementation of advanced purification technologies and troubleshooting process equipment
Desired Qualifications:
-
M.S./M.A. in Biotechnology or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or B.S./B.A. with 5+ years
-
Experience in small to intermediate scale downstream processes under cGMP

Proficiency in chromatography, TFF (ultrafiltration/diafiltration), filtration, and virus clearance studies

Familiarity with AKTA systems and other automated chromatography platforms

Experience with process scale-up, tech transfer, and authoring technical reports and protocols

Pay Details: $84.00 to $86.00 per hour
