Job Title:\tUS Sales – Midwest Territory
Scope:\tReport to President and CEO
Responsibilities:
•\tManage and grow the US Midwest sales territory.
•\tWork closely with current and prospective accounts to meet sales goals.
•\tMaintain accurate and updated information to develop an effective Customer Relationship Management system.
•\tTravel within the specified region to visit customers and prospects.
•\tPrepare progress reports (call reports) for management and gather customer satisfaction data.
•\tParticipate in team meetings.
•\tDocument pricing changes, contract changes or any other pertinent information regarding NYACOL customers.
•\tWork with customer service to complete customer profiles.
•\tWork with R&D to address sales requirements, technical problems or general customer concerns.
•\tFollow up with sample inquiries.
•\tRespond to customer inquiries.
•\tComplete supplier or regulatory forms as needed.
•\tMaintain knowledge of NYACOL quality system, quality policy and quality objectives and an understanding of how to access quality documents.
•\tUse internal software databases such as Access to perform job duties.
Educational Requirements:
•\tBS/BA degree in business or equivalent experience.
•\tExperience in chemical sales required.
•\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
•\tHigh motivation, independence, creativity and positive attitude.
•\tProficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems to collect prospect data.
