The Chemist is an individual contributor responsible for performing a variety of tests on samples within a Quality Control (QC) laboratory. This role involves operating and maintaining various instruments, ensuring data integrity, and adhering to strict cGMP and documentation practices. The specific duties and responsibilities may vary based on the assigned department, group, as well as the individual's education, training, and level of experience. This position requires a strong working knowledge of analytical techniques and equipment to ensure the quality and compliance of all tested materials. 5+ years of experience in analytical testing within a cGMP environment or a Quality Control (QC) lab is required.

responsibilities:
- Execute a full range of analytical testing, including routine, advanced, and critical analysis, with a working knowledge of raw materials testing and release.
- Operate and maintain a variety of specialized instruments, such as Karl Fischer, HPLC, GC, Particle Size, and ICP, and coordinate with vendors for their installation and qualification.
- Ensure strict compliance with all cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), data integrity, and good documentation practices.
- Lead investigation activities to address testing deviations or other issues as they arise.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in scientific discipline
- 5+ years of experience in analytical testing within a cGMP environment or a Quality Control (QC) lab
?Preferred:
- Experience in Inhalation products (MDI)
