Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of the irrigation assistant are to work with irrigation leadership to ensure the performance and functionality of all equipment in and related to the water room as well as the irrigation in the flower rooms. The day typically starts with basic water sample testing, record keeping and communicating daily test results. On weekdays only, various cleaning processes are implemented to maintain the various systems used within the Water Room. Other tasks include scouting irrigation events in flower rooms, performing maintenance, as well as assisting with ongoing projects and upgrades throughout the facility. This is an unique opportunity to learn the inner workings of a hydroponics facility.
The schedule for this position is a rotating schedule 40 hours per week, 7am-5:30pm with every other weekend required!

<li>Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics</li>
<li>Ability to climb without spurs</li>
<li>Experience with tree care safety standards</li>
<li>Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation</li>
<li>Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck)</li>
<li>Communicate advanced understanding of all safety policies and procedures, including hazard tree identification.</li>
<li>Utilize specialized equipment properly for climbing (ropes, saddle, ladders) along with all associated tools.</li>
<li>Apply knowledge of branch collars, and proper pruning cuts with total competence on chainsaw operations.</li>
</ul>
What is Essential:
<ul>
<li>6 months – 1-year minimum Tree Climbing Experience</li>
<li>The desire to work outdoors </li>
<li>Valid U.S. driver's license to operate company vehicles, CDL A&amp;B a plus or willingness to obtain</li>
<li>Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.</li>

We are a growing company looking to add to our Maintenance Division! The position includes full service of our clients property including but not limited to; spring/fall clean ups, bark mulch, weekly lawn maintenance, gutter cleaning, irrigation . What we are looking for in an employee:
