Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a SR Tax Manager job for our direct client. In this role, you will act as a key advisor in shaping global tax strategy within a fast-paced, international environment. You will manage a wide range of tax activities, including planning, compliance, audit defense, and tax accounting, while leveraging AI-enabled efficiencies to deliver insights and improve processes. This position plays a critical role in driving strategic initiatives that impact organizational growth and profitability.
SR Tax Manager job responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Design and implement tax-efficient structures for cross-border operations and bespoke projects</li>
<li>Advise leadership on tax implications of strategic initiatives and major contracts</li>
<li>Monitor and interpret legislative changes across domestic and international jurisdictions</li>
<li>Lead and manage tax audits, prepare documentation, and defend positions with regulatory authorities</li>
<li>Manage external advisors and ensure timely completion of global tax filings</li>
<li>Direct international tax provision processes and ensure accurate accounting and disclosures</li>
<li>Develop and maintain global transfer pricing documentation and analyses</li>
<li>Collaborate with finance and operations teams on intercompany pricing and compliance</li>
<li>Use AI tools to automate tax research, documentation, and reporting workflows</li>
<li>Identify and implement emerging tax technologies and AI-driven efficiencies</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>10+ years of progressive tax experience in corporate or public accounting environments</li>
<li>Broad expertise in U.S. federal, state, and international tax laws</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global setting</li>
<li>Proficiency in tax accounting, research, compliance software, and Excel; Oracle experience a plus</li>
<li>Experience using Copilot/generative AI for tax calculations and documentation</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex tax concepts into actionable insights</li>
<li>CPA, JD, or MST preferred</li>
