Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist EPIC youth with personal care routines as needed (toileting, eating, etc.) • Support youth by providing needed accommodations to ensure their participation in EPIC programming • Work with EPIC staff to assist in preparing for programming to make sure the needs of all of EPIC’s young leaders are being met • Supervise youth during workshops, volunteer opportunities, and recreational activities • Represents Triangle and EPIC to family members, community organizations, and partners • Provide Program Participants with instruction in performing community service projects and other programming • Ensure that all personal care assistance provide to EPIC youth fits into EPIC’s self-advocacy model by ensuring that all assistance is youth led Additional Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain proper care, use, inventory and storage of supplies and equipment • Identify and assist in curriculum development and execution • Participate in all required training • Intervene in minor behavioral issues • Participate in team meetings • Assist in reaching programmatic goals set by EPIC Executive Director • Other duties as assigned Please note: This position requires traveling to different partners. Responsibilities:

<li>Build meaningful relationships with senior citizens and their families as you provide assistance with activities of daily living.</li>
<li>Attend to individual care needs and get to know the client's unique preferences and personalities.</li>
<li>Notify management of changes in mental or physical condition and recommend adjustments in the level of care and service.</li>
<li>Assist clients in life skills and other life enriching activities as indicated on their individual care plan.</li>
<li>Assist clients with 1 on 1 personal care and home management as instructed by and documented on the written plan of care.</li>
<li>Assist and facilitate activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal-care and hygiene, leisure activities and socialization</li>
<li>Help local seniors at home with shopping and/or light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and&nbsp;companionship.</li>
<li>Always ensure client safety.</li>

Qualifications:
