Summary
This position is to physically oversee buildings, residences, and the grounds.
In addition, the role oversees the Information Technology systems and consultative services. Along with the health and safety, risk management, privacy, and security.
As the Director of Operations, you will liaise with local, state, and federal government agencies on emergency preparedness, climate change, sustainability and community concerns. Other area where the Director liaises will be with Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Massachusetts Housing and Finance Agency (MHFA).

The Seasonal Habitat Maintenance Technician will support the Ecology and Climate team to maintain priority natural habitats across Trustees properties with a focus on invasive plant control. Other activities may include installation of restoration plantings, vegetation assessments, and mapping.   
The Role:
The Seasonal Habitat Maintenance Technician performs a suite of duties including herbicide application directly related to managing habitats and ecological resources including grasslands, early successional habitat (shrublands), fire-adapted habitats, exemplary natural community types and rare species habitat.  The position requires daily travel throughout the eastern half of the state.  While the position is based on 40 hours per week, due to the demands of seasonal fieldwork, unpredictable weather, and occasional overnight stays near field sites, a flexible schedule is required.  The Habitat Maintenance Seasonal Technician primarily works with and under the direction of the Habitat Steward to support the Program’s priority management goals statewide.   
Specifically, you’ll:

<li>Control invasive plant species within priority habitats primarily with the use of herbicide but also by mechanical means (cutting, pulling, etc).  </li>
<li>Conduct other habitat management activities such as vegetation assessment, planting, watering, and project maintenance. </li>
<li>Support the Habitat Steward in maintaining priority habitats that require routine maintenance or restoration including but not limited to grasslands and early successional habitats.    </li>

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support shipping and receiving operations by observing activity, reporting concerns, and assisting visitors and team members with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.</li>
<li>Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.</li>
<li>Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, including warehouse areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter.</li>
<li>Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle activity at gates, dock areas, and/or yard entrances, verifying credentials and directing drivers to designated areas per site policy.</li>
<li>Control access for employees, contractors, and visitors by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting entries and exits in site logs.</li>
<li>Perform rounds of loading docks and trailer staging areas to help to deter theft, damage, and/or unauthorized access, and report unusual activity.</li>
<li>Monitor cameras, alarms, and other surveillance systems, and take appropriate action based on site procedures and post orders.</li>
<li>Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in written reports, including detailed descriptions and follow-up actions taken.</li>
<li>Assist with securing doors, gates, and restricted areas by checking for signs of forced entry, unsecured access points, and/or policy violations.</li>
<li>Support site operations during high-traffic periods, including coordinating with on-site personnel regarding deliveries, pickups, and/or restricted-area access.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Requirements:
<ul>
<li>X-Ray screening experience is preferred.</li>
<li>The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.</li>
<li>Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.</li>
<li>Loss prevention experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Customer service experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.</li>
<li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.</li>
<li>Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.</li>
<li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.</li>
<li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.</li>
