Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support shipping and receiving operations by observing activity, reporting concerns, and assisting visitors and team members with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, including warehouse areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter.
- Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle activity at gates, dock areas, and/or yard entrances, verifying credentials and directing drivers to designated areas per site policy.
- Control access for employees, contractors, and visitors by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting entries and exits in site logs.
- Perform rounds of loading docks and trailer staging areas to help to deter theft, damage, and/or unauthorized access, and report unusual activity.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and other surveillance systems, and take appropriate action based on site procedures and post orders.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in written reports, including detailed descriptions and follow-up actions taken.
- Assist with securing doors, gates, and restricted areas by checking for signs of forced entry, unsecured access points, and/or policy violations.
- Support site operations during high-traffic periods, including coordinating with on-site personnel regarding deliveries, pickups, and/or restricted-area access.
Minimum Requirements:
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
