Our Summer 2025 theme is “Color the World!” and we will organize a wide range of activities for our campers to help them see that they have something to offer the world, and that they can leave their mark. From wilderness adventures and skills, to fine arts and crafts, our campers will explore their potential with our Enrichment Experts this summer. Our camp is almost 100% outside - so all activities should be prepared to take place in the great outdoors, or maybe just the backyard in the shade.&nbsp;
About the Enrichment Expert Position: What skill or talent do you have that you know kids would love to learn and you would love to teach? If you have experience with kids and passion for what you do, consider leading an enrichment block this summer.&nbsp;We are looking for activities in visual arts, theater arts, team games, nature exploration, outdoor skills, traditional arts… and more! Our theme is “Color the World.”
Responsibilities:

SUMMARY Under direction of the management team, works on the diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction, does semiskilled grounds construction and maintenance work and performs tasks as required in a professional and timely manner.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

<li>Follows the guidelines set forth in the Jay Peak employee manual and supplemental greens department manual.</li>
<li>Follows all safety guidelines.</li>
<li>Performs tasks as directed by the greens management team.</li>
<li>Uses powered equipment to mow greens, tees, aprons, fairways, roughs and other areas on the property.</li>
<li>Performs course cleanup using hand blowers, tractor blower, sweeper, chipper, log splitter, tractors or manual labor.</li>
<li>Assists in the implementation of erosion control and environmental management plan</li>
<li>Rakes sand traps either mechanically or by hand</li>
<li>Waters, fertilizes, top dresses, seeds, aerates, verticuts, rakes and grooms turf areas</li>
<li>Grades and prepares a soil plant bed, lays sod and seeds golf course and related property</li>
<li>Changes cups and tee markers and course setup</li>

Long Term - Seasonal Greenskeeper Position
Since 1919, Winchester Country Club has hosted seven Massachusetts Amateur championships and two state opens in addition to other state and regional tournaments. However, its best-known contribution to Massachusetts golf is its annual father &amp; son tournament, the longest-running such event in the country. First held in 1919, as sons and fathers returned from World War I, and the invitational tournament quickly became a mainstay in Massachusetts golf.
Today, Winchester Country Club remains one of the premier courses in the state. Featuring views of both the Mystic Lakes and the Boston skyline, this Ross layout remains intact with help from Ron Forse Golf Design most recently providing both challenge and enjoyment for its members and their guests.
Position:
Do you like to be outside? Do you enjoy the game of golf? Do you like to exercise and stay in shape? You can come to the right place! The Greenskeeper position offers all these things and more!
The Greenskeeper position plays a vital role in the maintenance and upkeep of such a remarkable golf course. The Greenkeepers are an integral part of the operation and provide the high-level golf course conditioning the members come to expect. 
Tasks include: 
Mowing Greens, Tees, Approaches, Fairways, Roughs, Clubhouse Grounds. Keeping bunkers pristine and playable through proper raking techniques. Divot repair on tees and fairways. Debris removal on surfaces and cart-paths. Summer rotary mowing and string trimming, Fall leaf clean-up, and small improvement projects to the golf course in the shoulder seasons are all tasks that will encompass the position. The maintenance and preparations of the driving range, practice greens and short game playing areas, to name a few!
Qualifications:
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals with a positive attitude to be a part of a great team culture, working alongside a passionate crew to achieve outstanding results, and presenting an amazing golfing experience for the members and their guests.
