The Karishim Swim Club at the JCC Greater Boston in Newton, MA, is seeking a Swim Coach (KASC). The Aquatics Department is a friendly, high-performing team inspired to use its knowledge and passion to help athletes grow in and out of the pool. Swim coaches work with enthusiastic families and colleagues as they develop their teams. 
This is a part-time non-exempt position with 20+ hours a week, including weekend meets. Offering some great benefits and a competitive pay rate of $25-$30 per hour. The Mystic Valley YMCA Aquatics Department is hiring a part time Swim Coach for the regional swim team associated with our YMCA. 
POSITION SUMMARY: Primarily responsible for swimmers ages 6 through 18. The coach would be available to coach on weekday evening practices as well as weekend swim meets. The ideal candidate will have or be willing to attain the appropriate coaching certifications for both the YMCA and USA swimming leagues including CPR/First aid and either a lifeguard or safety training for a coach’s certification. 
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY &amp; ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

<li>Provide a safe and quality competitive environment to train and motivate young athletes in the sport of swimming; instruct swim team participants on swimming stroke techniques and assist with skill improvement as outlined and directed by Head Coach.</li>

Primary Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

<li>Ensures the safety of every pool patron through education and attentiveness.</li>
