What Youll Do:

Essential Functions

Keeps familiar with retail layout and stays knowledgeable about retail items. Ensures the highest level of service, environment, and quality product is provided. Builds customer relationships and ensures a positive experience for every visitor in the store.
2) Processes customer purchases efficiently and accurately. Handles all types of regular point of sale (POS) transactions including cash, check, credit cards, gift certificates and mixed tender. Maintains drawer accuracy.
3) Responsible for keeping counter areas clean and orderly. Assists in keeping the retail facilities clean and organized. 
4) Other responsibilities including, but not limited to bagging groceries, cart retrieval, maintaining neat and orderly work spaces and sometimes assisting customers to their cars with purchases. 
5) Communicates, as necessary, to retail manager or supervisor when product needs replenishing.
6) Assists retail stockers in maintaining and stocking product displays. Ensures products are clean, organized, properly labeled, and fully stocked. Periodically examines products to remove old or damaged items.
