Leadership

<li>Builds local committees for ongoing communication about potential guests for DH’s.</li>
<li>Holds at least two DH’s per month within the assigned geographical area.With a follow-up of 100% of guests in attendance via phone call or in-person meeting. </li>
<li>Creates a plan for each donor that is driven by that donor’s passions and interests.</li>
<li>Assists in recruiting Table Captains for the Champions for Kids Breakfasts in the community.</li>
<li>Secures commitments of participation or donation from individuals or corporate donors.</li>
<li>Solicits cash or in-kind donations or sponsorships from individuals, and businesses for fundraising events.</li>
<li>Qualifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards individual gifts through personalized contacts including phone calls, correspondence, and personal visits with assigned donors.</li>
<li>Creates, executes, and participates in donor events as assigned to promote organizational goals, or solicit donations or sponsorships when needed.</li>

Administration 
<ul>
<li>Maintains donor database, coordinating efforts with other development staff.</li>
<li>Maintains strong and accurate records of activities, as directed by team protocol using the database.</li>

<li>Provides reports, or prepares presentations, to communicate individual planned giving program data to the Director of Individual Planned Giving.</li>

<li>Experience in fund development/administrative management in a nonprofit agency is preferred.</li>

Job Description:&nbsp;
The Latin Teacher is responsible for implementing Mystic Valley Regional Charter School’s (MVRCS) Latin program in Grades 7-12. The Latin Teacher delivers instruction according to the Core Knowledge program, both in curriculum and methodology. MVRCS’s high school program features the rigorous and world-renowned International Baccalaureate (IB) program, and high school language assignments may include IB coursework.&nbsp;

Responsibilities:&nbsp;&nbsp;
<ul>

Execute a program of study according to the documented curricula, and, if applicable, IB. Teachers are generally assigned five subject-area classes, each of which meets daily.&nbsp;

Deliver instruction using Core Knowledge and IB methodology.&nbsp;
</li>
<li>
Deliver lessons and units of instruction that are based on clear learning objectives.&nbsp;
</li>
<li>
Assess student progress on a regular basis, providing progress reports and report cards as required.&nbsp;
</li>
<li>
Collaborate and communicate on a weekly basis with colleagues in the Languages department, including the Department Chair. Topics for collaboration include, but are not limited to, curriculum, instruction, assessment, data analysis, and methodology.&nbsp;

Implement the school’s assertive discipline model for classroom management with fidelity.&nbsp;
</li>

Attend all staff meetings and participate in staff development programs.
