Job DescriptionLearning By The Lakes Academy Inc. is seeking energetic, responsible, and creative Summer Camp Counselors to work with school-age children during our summer program. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on activities, active play, and creating a fun, engaging summer experience for children.
Position Details
- Seasonal summer position
- Working with school-age children
- Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available
- Daytime summer program schedule
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate summer activities
- Supervise children during indoor/outdoor play, group activities, and field trips
- Promote teamwork, creativity, and positive social interactions
- Maintain a safe, structured, and fun environment
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Collaborate with camp staff and center leadership
Qualifications
- Must meet Associate Teacher qualifications
- Minimum of 9 college credits in Education or Early Childhood Education
- Experience working with school-age children preferred
- Energetic, dependable, and professional
- Ability to meet all state licensing requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
