(8am-4pm) GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Radiologic technologist will be responsible for producing consistent high-quality images to assist providers in determining a diagnosis. The technologist will also assist in the administrative and clinical functions of Mid-State Health Clinic to deliver the highest quality of patient care. Duties RADIOLOGY DUTIES: ·Prepare patients for x-ray, explain procedures to patient and/or family, prepare room, equipment, and materials, as needed. ·Position patient and arrange immobilization and support devices. ·Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors. ·Adjust equipment controls; determine proper voltage, and exposure time. ·Administer routine x-ray exams. ·Document patient chart with procedures performed. ·Clean and disinfect x-ray room and equipment, ·Maintains appropriate level of x-ray supplies. ·Ensures operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques. Makes rounds of each nursing unit and does visual inspection on each unit.

Assists the DNS with reviewing satisfaction of care and services by interviews with families and residents.

Assists the Infection Preventionist in establishing and maintaining the Infection Control Program.

Assists the Director of Staff Development in ensuring that all mandatory inservice education sessions, which are required by state and federal law, are performed per schedule; documented and such documentation is retained as directed by the DNS.

Assists the DNS in developing safety standards for the nursing department and monitors these through employee incidents and develops a plan of correction and audit tool for prevention.

Assist the DNS with Monthly Nursing department staff meetings that are held on all three shifts.

Participates in surveys and inspections by government agencies and implements plans of correction for deficiencies.
</li>

As a Speech Therapist, you provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment and consultation to a general rehab caseload; participate in the clinical team process; provide teaching and training to care giver staff; and supervise other assistants, aides and students as required. 
Education &amp; Experience:

Duties &amp; Responsibilities:

<li>Screens patients/residents.</li>
<li>Evaluates patients/residents and develops appropriate care plans.</li>
<li>May perform additional assigned administrative duties such as: assigning and overseeing resident care activities, medical record oversight, assuring execution of physician orders, ordering supplies, etc.</li>
<li>Under a physician’s order, provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care. Treatment venue includes individual, supervised and group.</li>
<li>Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program.</li>
<li>Consults with and trains patients/residents and caregivers.</li>
<li>Monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.</li>
<li>Documents activities according to the company’s clinical documentation system on a timely basis.</li>
<li>Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.</li>
