We are hiring a full-time RSC to support residents 4 days/wk at Binnall House in Gardner and 1 day/wk at Weldon House in Greenfield.
 
Duties/Skills include but not limited to:
1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The RSC works as a team alongside the resident services staff, property management team, residents, volunteers and community partners.
2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Connecting our residents to services, resources and support is a primary duty of the RSC. This includes assessments, education, referrals to service providers and the one ongoing monitoring of support. Some examples of service topics include resources to help older adults age in place, rental assistance, benefits and entitlements, job support, early childhood education, food assistance and mental health.
3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The RSC establishes onsite wellness programs and events through relationships with community partners and/or utilizing the RSC programming budget. Topics can range from having celebrations that prevent isolation and build community to lectures on health topics and general wellbeing, such as fraud prevention or computer classes.
4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Advocate, organize, problem-solve to obtain results for residents.
5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Establish relationships with agencies and service providers in the community who will provide direct services to residents.

Job Summary
Performs the resident services tasks as assigned by the Resident Care Director. Our services are a prime focus for our Resident Care department. This position provides service and care to each resident in a timely efficient manner. Maintain high resident and family satisfaction, meet high expectations, and ensure that The HallKeen Assisted Living Community services are implemented in service/customer focused manner. 
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities
 
The following essential functions are the fundamental job duties of the position to be completed with or without appropriate reasonable accommodation.

<li>Provides activities of daily living assistance to the residents as directed from each Resident’s Service Plan.</li>
<li>Provides Medication reminders according to state regulations. (NOT TO ADMINISTER)</li>

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Must have current certification as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide or homemaker/personal care homemaker training program.</li>

<li>Must successfully complete HallKeen Assisted Living Communities, LLC’s Medication Training.</li>

Summary: The Direct Support Professional 2 will support and assist in Level 2 residential programs. Staff will help individuals who need daily intervention, supervision, and skills training in activities of daily living while managing within a home environment and in the community.
