We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher for our Program. The salary is competitive and varies based on the level of qualification and experience.
Job Description:
- Setting up the classroom and maintaining a safe and organized learning environment.
- Assisting children with daily individual/group activities
- Supervising work cycle time, outdoor/indoor playtime, snack/lunch time, bathroom time, and nap time of the children.
- Managing classroom routines
- Reading stories and singing songs during circle time.
- Preparing weekly curriculum for the children.
- Collaborating with co-teachers and other staff.
- Maintaining observation records of the children and preparing their progress reports periodically.
- Communicating with parents by checking and sending messages to and from parents
- Maintaining accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and activities.
- Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
- Staying updated on early childhood education best practices and regulations.
Training will be provided on classroom routines and procedures.
Requirements:
- EEC Infant/Toddler certification
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with children
- Degrees and/or courses is early childhood education is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized
- Ability to work within regular operating hours
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment
