BECOMING OUR CHIMNEY TECHNICIAN - HEARTH INSTALLER:
As our Chimney Technician - Hearth Installer, you'll start your day at 7:00 a.m., gear up with company‑provided tools and vehicle, and head out to deliver a mix of chimney cleanings and inspections, fireplace and chimney repairs, and chimney lining installations-all to code and with a keen eye on safety. You'll install stoves and fireplaces that homeowners are excited to use, and you'll translate your technical findings into clear, trustworthy recommendations-including on‑site sales of services and products that are truly needed. From staging setup to rooftop work on varying pitches, you'll solve problems with the materials common to our industry, communicate professionally, and leave every job site better than you found it.
What You'll Bring:
- 1+ year of experience in the hearth and/or chimney industry
- Experience working with chimney service and/or hearth appliance installations
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working on roofs of all pitches and heights
- Ability to lift 80 lbs.
- Ability to safely set up and work job sites, including staging
- Motivated team player with the ability to solve complex problems
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred: CSIA/NFI certified (or willingness to attain-required for ongoing employment), construction/masonry experience, vocational or in-home service technician experience, NH State Gas Fitter license, and a medical card. We will train the right candidate who meets the minimum experience requirement and brings the right attitude!
The Schedule:
Full‑time Chimney Technician - Hearth Installer role with a Monday–Friday workweek, 7:00 AM start, 40–50 hours per week. Occasional Saturdays may be scheduled to meet deadlines. No Sundays or Holidays!
