Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Surgical Technologist specializing in orthopedic procedures at a reputable surgical center. This contract position offers a Monday through Thursday schedule from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, providing a balanced workweek in a focused orthopedic surgical environment.
Responsibilities include supporting a variety of orthopedic surgeries such as total joint replacements, MAKO robot-assisted joint replacements, sports medicine procedures, and surgeries involving hands and feet. Experience with advanced surgical technologies, particularly the MAKO robotic system, is highly valued. The role involves working within a team utilizing surgical equipment in a three-operating-room setting with paper-based documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
- Proven experience with total joint replacements and general orthopedic surgeries.
- Familiarity with MAKO robot-assisted surgeries is essential.
- Ability to perform surgical support for sports medicine and hand and foot procedures.
- BLSD certification is mandatory.
- Comfortable working with paper documentation systems.
