Principal IT Business Systems Analyst – SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC)
Summary
Seeking a Principal IT Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance SAP OTC (Order-to-Cash) processes during an ERP transformation from NetSuite to SAP S/4HANA. This role is responsible for configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and post-go-live support, ensuring seamless integration across business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the integration, configuration, and testing of the SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
- Act as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to align SAP configurations with business needs.
- Write, review, and validate test scenarios and cases; sign off during testing phases.
- Provide configuration support, focusing on order processing, billing, inventory, pricing, rebates, and 3PL/CMO integrations.
- Collaborate with data SMEs to ensure accurate and complete data integration.
- Deliver post-go-live troubleshooting and support for OTC operations.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and compliance improvements (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, test cases, and processes.
- Provide user training and support, ensuring smooth SAP OTC operations.
- Grow into the role of SAP OTC Solution Owner, overseeing end-to-end OTC functionality.
Qualifications
- 5+ years SAP OTC/SD experience, including Order Management, Billing, Pricing, Rebates, Inventory, and 3PL/CMO integrations.
- Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA OTC, ERP implementations, and system integrator collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of business process modeling, configuration, and testing methodologies.
- Experience with NetSuite to SAP S/4HANA migrations a plus.
- Familiarity with life sciences regulatory requirements (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) preferred.
- Strong documentation, training, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Boston-based hybrid role (2–3 days in office) with occasional travel (<10%).
