This is a high risk L&D unit with an average delivery volume of 2100 deliveries per year. We accept transfer ins as we have a MFM outpatient consultation, however the OB manages the patients. All OB practices and family practice doctors are private entities with delivery privileges. No hospital owned providers, no laborists. Only family practice will have midwife coverage. Level 3 NICU in hospital. Not LDRP. Must circulate for c-sections.
REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years experience preferred, will screen for 1-2 yrs exp
Traveler Experience: Unit does NOT accept firs time travelers
Previous charge experience required
Circulate REQUIRED
Locals accepted at differential rate (Travel rate currently listed- local rate if within 50 miles)
JOB DETAILS:
Shift: 3x12 Days 7a-7:30p, 36hrs only
Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: Yes, Maternity/Mother-Baby
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Epic - Experience required
