A healthcare opportunity is available in Williston, VT for a skilled imaging professional specializing in MRI. This contract position is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of clinical experience and appropriate ARRT certification in radiology or vascular ultrasound, depending on modality.
This role involves working in a well-equipped setting with a variety of advanced imaging equipment including 7 X-ray units, 2 CT scanners, 1 wide-bore MRI (GE Optima 450w), 4 ultrasound machines, nuclear medicine, and mammography technology. The department is staffed by over 40 imaging professionals, and this person will rotate through different units including radiology, fluoroscopy, operating room, and potentially off-site locations. Flexibility is expected with scheduling, which typically includes 8-hour shifts and may require weekend and holiday call between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m., especially for MRI and ultrasound. On-call responsibilities and contrast injections are part of the role.

Core Responsibilities:

- Float among various imaging departments as assigned, including the OR environment.
- Participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotations as scheduled.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years clinical experience in MRI or relevant modality.
- Current ARRT certification in radiology or vascular ultrasound.
- Ability to perform contrast injections.
- Compliance with dress code and infection control standards.
- Skilled in operating various imaging systems including GE, Philips, Toshiba, Canon, and Carestream.
