Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a temporary contract covering a medical leave at an early childhood elementary school setting. This opportunity runs from November through January during the 2025/26 school year and is based onsite in Woodstock, VT.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and has experience working within pediatric healthcare and school environments. Familiarity with early childhood and elementary school caseloads is essential. This role provides valuable clinical experience in a supportive educational setting and requires dedication to speech and language development in young learners.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric healthcare and school-based therapy
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or equivalent experience
  • Comfortable working with early childhood and elementary-age children
  • Strong skills assessing and treating elementary caseloads

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students onsite
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and track progress in speech and language development
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families and staff
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
