Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time, in-person Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Assistant is needed to support an early childhood school in Franklin, NH. This contract position covers a leave from mid-January until the end of the school year, providing services primarily to students from PreK through 2nd grade. Working with an elementary caseload in Meredith, NH, the role involves delivering speech-language support to young learners in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from PreK to 2nd grade.
  • Collaborate with other speech/language pathologists within the building to support individual student goals.
  • Observe and assess students early in the assignment to understand their needs and tailor interventions effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress, and communications with teachers and families.
  • Deliver in-person services to young students to facilitate hands-on and interactive therapy sessions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC preferred) or credentials as a Speech Assistant.
  • Experience working with early childhood or elementary-level students.
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development in young children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing in-person therapy tailored to young learners needs.

Location: Franklin, NH, with caseload services in Meredith, NH.
