Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support an elementary school caseload from mid-March through late June. This leave contract role requires professionals with experience working within schools, particularly supporting students with severe autism.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students
Manage caseload involving students with severe autism and communication challenges
Utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices effectively
Collaborate with school staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid DESE license required
Certified SLP with CCC credentials or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred; SLPA candidates with appropriate credentials will also be considered
Proven experience working with children on the autism spectrum, especially those with severe disabilities
Familiarity with AAC devices and implementation in therapy sessions
Prior school-based caseload experience preferred

Location and Duration:

Position located in Braintree, MA within an elementary school setting
Contract starts mid-March (3/16) and continues through 6/22
