Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide expert nursing care in a dynamic Radiology Department supporting both inpatient and outpatient services. This role requires advanced skills in assessment, communication, patient education, and leadership to manage nursing care across a variety of diagnostic imaging modalities including Special Procedures, Fluoroscopy, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and MRI. Preparedness to respond to unexpected emergencies during radiological procedures is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care tailored to adult-geriatric patients in diagnostic radiology settings.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols, policies, and procedures related to interventional radiology, patient monitoring, and medication administration.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of professional nursing practice.
- Provide patient and family teaching, ensuring patient rights and individualized care plans are upheld.
- Maintain proper documentation using EMR systems.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with a New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (mandatory for consideration).
- Experience in Interventional Radiology nursing.
- Knowledge of diverse radiology procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with ancillary staff.
