Position Overview:
We are currently recruiting a CT Technologist Specialist I to support diagnostic imaging services during the evening shift at a respected healthcare facility in Western Massachusetts. This full-time role demands technical precision, autonomous decision-making, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
The ideal candidate is a motivated and adaptable technologist capable of handling both CT and general radiographic imaging in a high-volume setting. Youll work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and administrative teams to deliver accurate and timely imaging results. Responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting imaging systems (CT, CR/DR, PACS, HIS, and RIS), performing diagnostic procedures including IV insertion and contrast injections, and supporting patient transport and safety protocols.
This role may also include peer mentoring and taking on supervisory responsibilities as delegated by department leadership.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Includes rotating holidays and weekends
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current registration with the ARRT in Radiography (R)
- Valid Massachusetts Radiology License
- Current CPR certification
- CT certification preferred (must be obtained within 1 year of hire)
- At least 1 year of X-ray experience preferred
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in CR, DR, CT scanning, and PACS
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in clinical settings
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with infection control standards and HIPAA compliance
