Job Title: Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Location: Concord MA
Employment Type: 13 week contract
Shift: 12 Hour Nights

Pay Rate: up to $2500/weekly + benefits from day 1!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. The NICU RN provides specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns while supporting families through complex and emotionally sensitive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients requiring intensive or critical care

  • Monitor and assess neonates' vital signs, respiratory status, and developmental needs

  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and nutritional support as prescribed

  • Manage ventilators, CPAP, and other life-support equipment

  • Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Educate and support families regarding treatment plans and infant care

  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR

  • Participate in emergency situations, including neonatal resuscitation

  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required; BSN preferred)

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

  • BLS certification required

  • NRP certification required or must be obtained within [X] months

  • NICU experience preferred; strong consideration given to nurses with high-acuity newborn experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods

  • Lift and position infants and equipment as needed

  • Ability to wear required PPE and comply with safety protocols
