Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file legal documents electronically, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court standards.
• Manage calendars and schedules for attorneys, including appointments, deadlines, and court dates.
• Coordinate and oversee the filing of civil litigation documents, maintaining thorough records.
• Communicate with clients, legal professionals, and court officials to facilitate case progress.
• Conduct research and compile information to support legal cases.
• Maintain organized files and documentation for ongoing litigation matters.
• Assist in drafting correspondence, motions, and other legal documents.
• Ensure adherence to legal protocols and procedures in all administrative tasks.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys during court proceedings and meetings.
• Monitor and track case deadlines to ensure timely submissions.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal assistant role, specifically within litigation.
• Proficiency in e-filing systems and processes.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation practices and procedures.
• Ability to manage calendars and schedules effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with court filing requirements and processes.
• Proficiency in legal research and documentation.
