Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students in grades K-5 and 9-12 within a school setting. This contract position is located in Derry, NH and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
- Adapt classroom instruction and materials for students with disabilities in grades K-5 and 9-12

- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Maintain compliance with relevant special education laws and school policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in special education
- Experience working with students in grades K through 5 and 9 through 12
- Strong understanding of special education methodologies and individualized instruction
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
