Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for an elementary school setting, serving kindergarten and first-grade students in a substantially separate classroom. This role requires managing a caseload of up to 12 students and is designed for educators with a focus on special education, preferably with a severe license. The position is contract-based for the current school year and will begin as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to elementary students with special needs in a substantially separate K-1 classroom
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the specific learning requirements of each student
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive educational support
- Manage classroom behavior and promote a positive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed to meet educational goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification; severe license preferred
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
- Strong understanding of instructional strategies for substantially separate classrooms
- Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week, with dedication to student success
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
