Project Manager - Commercial Doors
Position Overview
The Project Manager for Commercial Doors will oversee the estimating, bidding, planning, execution, and delivery of commercial door projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial doors and hardware, along with effective project management skills to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple commercial door projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate project execution and resolve any issues that arise during the process.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, resources, risk management, and communication strategies.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to commercial doors and hardware.
- Utilize project management software and tools to track project statuses and maintain documentation.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial doors and hardware industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial doors, frames, and hardware, including products from ASSA ABLOY, Ceco, Allegion, Schlage, and Von Duprin.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools such as Procore.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in project management.
