Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role requires an experienced Imaging professional skilled in MRI with at least 1-2 years of clinical experience. The position offers the opportunity to work in a community-based hospital setting equipped with advanced diagnostic imaging technology including a GE Optima 450w MRI and a variety of other radiology and ultrasound equipment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- MRI expertise required, with ability to perform contrast injections
- ARRT certification in radiology and vascular ultrasound preferred according to modality
- Minimum 1-2 years clinical experience in diagnostic imaging
- Ability to work collaboratively within a large team (40+ staff) and rotate among various units including radiology, fluoroscopy, OR, and off-site locations
- Willingness to participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotations for MRI and ultrasound (typically weekend call 8am-12pm)
- Familiarity with Epic documentation system
- Adherence to facility dress code (scrubs of any color, closed non-skid shoes, minimal jewelry)
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized imaging exams according to modality standards in a community hospital environment
- Inject contrast agents safely and competently during MRI procedures
- Float among multiple departments as needed, including participating in fluoroscopy and surgical imaging
- Respond to weekend and holiday on-call duties per schedule
- Comply with hospital policies for patient safety, documentation, and infection control
