*Must be able to work 2-3 afternoon shifts (ie. between 3-8PM)

- Pay starts at $20.00 - $23.00 per hour with increases of $1-$4 in the first 3-6 months.

- Case matching: 1-2 regularly assigned clients with whom you can build rapport with over time
- BCBA/Case supervisors with smaller caseloads

Overview - About the Behavior Technician Position:
Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician or ABA Therapist role provides 1-to-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children diagnosed with Autism (ASD). Therapy sessions usually run3-4 hours and primarily take place during after school hours in the client's home, Community, and/or at our Center. Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible (usually within 30 minutes) to your home address or regular school/other work location
Travel time pay and mileage reimbursements are available (when applicable).
Qualifications of an ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- Bachelor's degree, EEC and other certifications are welcomed
- Friendly, energetic, and enjoys working with individuals with special needs
- Experience working with children
- Ability to attend an initial orientation
- Timely and organized
- Ability to work independently
- Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations
Responsibilities of an ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician
- Creating a fun and engaging learning environment
- Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Working with families for effective collaboration
- Submitting all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Electronic Data collection
- Implementing individualized behavior support plans
- Implementing skill acquisition programs
