Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized nursing opportunity is available for a professional with expertise in operating room technologies, particularly in obstetric surgical procedures. This role involves critical peri-operative responsibilities in a busy childbirth center setting, supporting Cesarean sections and maintaining the highest standards of surgical instrumentation and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub for Cesarean-Section surgeries, ensuring sterile technique and optimal surgical conditions.
- Plan, prepare, and maintain surgical instruments and the surgical field throughout procedures.
- Conduct postoperative room and instrument decontamination to maintain safety and cleanliness.
- Manage stocking and inventory control for the operating room, labor and delivery rooms, nursery, and postpartum areas.
- Remove outdated supplies and documentation to uphold regulatory compliance.
- Perform a range of direct and indirect patient care activities, including clerical and supply management tasks.
- Serve as unit secretary when necessary, facilitating smooth communication within the department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary childbirth teams to promote superior patient-family care and safety.

- Proven experience in OR nursing, particularly related to obstetric surgeries.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Ability to respond flexibly to call requirements as needed.
- Familiarity with sterile processing protocols and surgical instrumentation.
Schedule:
- Two 12-hour day shifts.
- On-call availability required.
