Legal Assistant - Workers Compensation
Job Description
We're working with a client in Manchester, NH who's looking to bring on a Legal Assistant with experience in Personal Injury law. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity supporting attorneys with case preparation, document management, and client communication in a fast-paced legal environment.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Preparing legal documents such as motions, objections, and correspondence
- Assisting with discovery and managing case files
- Preparing medical evidence for trial and hearings
- Filing and serving legal documents in State and Federal courts (experience with e-filing required)
- Communicating with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel via phone and email
- Supporting attorneys with trial prep and hearing materials
- Requesting, reviewing, and organizing medical records
- Coordinating permanent impairment evaluations
What They're Looking For:
- 1-3 years of law firm experience, preferably in personal injury, workers' comp, or social security disability
- Experience managing personal injury files and working with claims adjusters
- Knowledge of court rules, discovery deadlines, and trial prep processes
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Adobe, and Filevine (experience scanning/maintaining electronic files is a plus)
- Team player who can also work independently
