Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in construction to join our Estimating Team. As an Estimating Assistant, you will be an essential part in the fast-paced process of producing Material Packages for residential and commercial projects. The ability to stay highly organized and multitask are key attributes to success in this role. As part of the Estimating Team, you will be responsible for reading supplied building plans to accurately process materials needed with supplied software.

Responsibilities: - Learn the supplied software and use to accurately to create estimates - Communicate with Team Leader and Account Managers to schedule workload based on deadline and project requirements - Contact vendors to accurately design, source and price material - Research, read, and train on new and existing products to stay up to date with building material specifications - Maintain ongoing and completed projects in a highly organized manner - Other tasks, assignments or special projects as needed

Required Skills and Abilities: - Experience in Construction Industry or relevant College Education - Knowledge of Microsoft Suite - Ability to work in fast-paced environment - Must be able to work independently and stay detail oriented - Valid driver license

Physical Requirements: - Ability to visit and navigate job sites when necessary - Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time - Ability to walk up and down stairs or ladders
