Compensation Structure:
- Base pay $45,000 - $70,000 based on experience and skill level
- Tiered commission structure, earn more as you get busier

VASTA Vermont's premier Sports Performance, Fitness and Physical Therapy facility is adding to our talented team of Personal Trainers/Performance Coaches again.
We are continuing our steady growth and expansion as such we seek a talented, ambitious, thought-provoking professional to join our team! This is full-time, pay is salary plus commission and benefits also available depending upon candidate's experience.

We're looking for a certified personal trainer and/or strength and conditioning coach to deliver personal training, group/ team strength and conditioning, and group fitness classes in South Burlington, VT. The ideal candidate will have experience playing and/ or coaching boy's and girl's sports and experience as a personal trainer and/or strength and conditioning coach.
Essential Job Functions:
> Design, prescribe and coach individual fitness and/or sport-specific training sessions
> Evaluate and analyze individual fitness and/or athletic performance using specific testing protocols
> Learn and coach assigned fitness and sports performance classes to local client groups
> Learn and coach team strength and conditioning programs
> Attend training/ orientations to learn the company products, services, methods and philosophy
> Available for periodic meetings via telephone or in-person
> Sign a confidentiality clause, IC letter of agreement, and a non-compete agreement
Expectations:
This position will evolve over time. The right candidate will be a spokesperson for VASTA, embrace the philosophy, be flexible and communicate concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Certified by the NSCA (CSCS or CPT), NASM (PES, CES or CPT), or ACSM. CPR certified.
- At least 1 year of personal training experience
- Able to design, prescribe and coach individual fitness and/or sport-specific training sessions
- Able to evaluate and analyze individual fitness and/or athletic performance using specific testing protocols
Compensation:
Starting pay will be commensurate with education, experience and training needed. Pay starts with a base salary plus commission and bonuses. Base salary starts at $45-75k depending upon experience. More experienced candidates would have higher salary, commissions, benefits and bonuses.
